This event is inspired by other groups' Pints & Flies events; it's not really the best for beginner level tying, since it's not focused on instruction but rather on social tying. That said, everyone is welcome.
You bring your own vise and materials, you have a couple of beers and tie flies. We'll make some weird new bugs and learn from each other. We don't want to give it too much structure, but in order to prevent lugging all our stuff every time, we'll try to come up with an appropriate theme.
This month's theme is surf flies, so bring your vise, sz 4-8 salt water hooks, and anything flashy, red or orange. Have a pint and tie some flies for this month's Weekend Wade.
