A FREE all day seminar designed to teach the basics of fly fishing the surf.

This is a joint effort between One Surf Fly, WFF, and the SWCFFF. We need volunteers from WFF to help run this thing: Casting monitors, folks to help with lunch, traffic control, security & clean up. Please email Larry or post on the 2014 Double Haul Ball Forum.

For those who haven't been to the LBCC before, here are some near foolproof directions:

 

  1. Take the 405 south to the Bellflower Exit.
  2. The off ramp puts you onto Los Coyotes Diagonal.
  3. Turn left, then make a quick right at the light, which is Bellflower Boulevard.
  4. Take Bellflower to 7th Street and turn right.
  5. Go approximately one mile. You will see the golf course to your right. Look for the Dog Park sign just before Federation Drive.
  6. Turn right at the sign and proceed up to the parking area behind the clubhouse. (If you miss the Dog Park turn, you can turn right on Federation and park. It's a very short walk up the hill to the casting pool and clubhouse.)
