Temple Fork Outfitters “Finesse” rod, 3 wt., 7’9”, 4 pc FLY ROD w CASE plus a  Sage 2230 Fly Reel -Value $319

A great combo, especially for streams around California. Finesse Rods complement the TFO line by offering a more “traditional” taper and action for those who fish small flies and fine tippets on light lines.  This is the ideal rod for meadow streams, limestone creeks and spring creeks. The Sage 2230 reel has a large arbor with machined die cast frame, large machined one revolution drag knob, ergonomic handle and the concave arbor allows more capacity.  What we have here is an absolutely perfectly-matched combo.

Important Stuff

Before you can win one of these great prizes, you gotta buy a ticket ($25 each or five for $100) so you can get into the game. Remember, only 200 tickets will be sold.

Tickets can be purchased online, by mail, or in person at either the November meeting or at the Holiday Party. (FYI: In the past, big winners have nearly always bought two or more tickets to support the club.) And even though YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN, it is certainly a lot more fun to be at the party in person -- and take your prize home that night!

Even if you don't win a prize, you will still have the satisfaction of making a valuable contribution to WFF's ongoing conservation and education programs like Trout In The Classroom, CalTrout, and our fly tying seminars. Not to mention you can get a swell tax write off.*
